Quick Overview
The Laser SX is based on the ski cross skis. This ski is super versatile and can handle any skiing style, whether powerful or relaxed, for short or long runs. The ski can easily be configured to your liking thanks to the adjustable bindings. Compared to previous versions, Stöckli has given the SX a little more rocker and fine-tuned the dimensions.
Details
Camber
The ski has a traditional pre-tensioning over almost its entire length. This shape makes it easy to build up pressure in the turns, creating good edge grip. Nowadays, nearly all Camber skis also have some sort of rocker in the tip to improve turn initiation.
Turtle Shell
The cutting of the Titanal layer in the core affects the ski characteristics. At a slower pace, the ski is less torsionally stiff and therefore easier to ski. At speed, the two parts of the plate interlock and give the ski the grip, torsion and stability of the entire Titanal layer again.
