Ordering

  • Stock Status
    All products that you can order on our website are in stock. Exceptions to this are pre-order products. If it is a pre-order product, this will be clearly indicated on the product page.
  • Pre-Order
    Products with the Pre-Order status are not yet available, but you can already order and reserve them. This way you can be sure that you will receive the latest model and be one of the first to get it. The expected delivery date is shown on the product page. We try to make this date as precise as possible, but we cannot always guarantee it.
  • International Orders
    • We ship all over the world.
    • You will see the shipping costs at checkout before you complete your order.
    • The delivery time to your country can be found on the website of UPS: UPS Calculator (ship from address: Stoutenburg - 3836 - Netherlands).
    • If you are ordering from outside the EU, you will not pay VAT in our online store.

    For orders from outside the EU, CH and NO keep in mind:

    • Shipping costs will be shown at checkout after you have selected the delivery country.

    • You will not pay the 21% Dutch VAT.

  • Buying from the USA

    • If you order skis with bindings, we will not be able to mount them for you. The skis and bindings are sent to you unmounted.
    • We cannot ship airbags and airbag cylinders to the US.

    Dollar price
    In our online store you can pay in Euros (€) or British Pounds (£). The final price you pay in Dollars ($) depends on the exchange rate your credit card company or PayPal charges at the time of your order.

    VAT, import and customs costs

    We have provided the information below on the basis of a best effort and no rights can be derived from it. Customs rules can change regularly, so it is possible that this information is no longer (completely) correct. Make sure you are well informed in order to avoid unexpected costs. We are not responsible for unexpected import costs.

    Order value < $ 800
    If your order, including shipping costs, has a value below $800 then you do not pay VAT. In most cases, you do not pay any import or customs fees either, but this can vary from state to state.

    Order value ≥ $ 800
    If your order is $800 or more, VAT, import and customs costs may be charged. These costs will automatically be charged to you by the carrier. Under no circumstances can we reimburse these costs.

  • Ordering from the UK after Brexit

    Ordering from the UK after Brexit and leaving the Customs Union in 2021

    Orders to most of the UK will be delivered in 2 to 3 working days. The shipping costs depend on the type of package and will be shown at checkout before you complete your order. Shipping delays may occur in the first months after Brexit.

    • For most products you will be charged import duties varying from 2% to 15%. We can not tell you these costs in advance as this depends on a combination of product type and origin (production) country. Example: most skis are produced in the EU and have no import tariffs but most clothing is produced outside the EU and incurs a 12% import tariff.
    • Shipping costs ex. VAT will be shown at checkout after you have selected the UK as delivery country.
    • Delivery time to most of the UK is 2-3 business days. The exact delivery time to your location can be found on the UPS website: UPS Calculator (Use as ship from address: Stoutenburg - 3836 - Netherlands).
    • You will not pay the 21% Dutch VAT, you will order excluding VAT in our store.
    • UPS will charge you the 20% UK VAT plus £12,- brokerage fee plus import duties when applicable.
    • You are responsible for any VAT and customs costs. Under no circumstances can we reimburse them.
    • Returns are at your own expense, except in case of an authorized warranty return shipment. Please make sure we won't be charged import charges upon delivery.
    • If you're exporting your goods from a EU country to the UK yourself we can refund you the Dutch VAT of 21%. Please read how to do this here.
  • Placing your order

    After placing your order, we will send you an order confirmation by e-mail within a few minutes. This order confirmation contains all products ordered by you, including any free gifts/products. Always check the confirmation carefully and if something is not correct, please contact us as soon as possible.
    You will receive the shipping confirmation on the day of shipment in the course of the evening.

  • Modifying an order

    If you want to change your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot change your order after shipment.

  • Ordering skis with bindings

    Selecting and adding a binding
    If you order skis together with ski bindings, you benefit from an extra competitive set price. First choose the ski you want and then click the + SKI BINDING. Ski binding

    We will then display 3 recommended bindings based on the ski you have chosen. You can of course choose a different binding in the Alpine, Tour or Tech/Pin categories.

    Free binding mounting
    If you buy skis with ski bindings, installation is free of charge. In order to mount the bindings on the skis, all we need is your ski boot size in millimetres. The plastic on the side of the heel of your ski boot shows the millimetre size. You can pass this millimetre size on to us via the Comments field above the order button at checkout.

    If you don't have the boot size at hand, you can still order. We'll send you an e-mail asking for your boot size. You can answer this question at your convenience.

    Another option is to pass on the Mondopoint size of your ski boot. In that case we'll always need to know the brand and model of the ski boot. Then we can look up the millimetre size. You can leave this information in the comments field or you can e-mail it to us with your order number.

    Special mounting instructions
    We mount all our skis as standard at the recommended mounting point. If you want to deviate from this, please indicate this in the comments field. If you would like further advice regarding ski mounting, please contact our customer service.

    Adjustment and DIN

    Caution! If you buy a ski from us and we mount the bindings, it will be mounted on the sole length of your boot (we only assemble based on the information you have provided). The ski is not adjusted to individual needs and ski boot as we do not have your ski boot to allow fine tuning. Visual inspection of the boot is also not possible. This means that the ski is not ready to use. We recommend that the binding be adjusted in a local ski shop. Of course you can also do the fine tuning yourself. We are not responsible for the correct adjustment of your bindings.

    Ski bindings and the United States and Canada

    If you order skis and bindings from the U.S. or Canada, we will not be able to mount the bindings for you due to liability. Of course you can still order these products, they will just be delivered unmounted.

  • Ordering a snowboard with bindings

    When you order a snowboard with bindings, you benefit from an extra competitive set price. First choose the snowboard you want and then add a binding with the button + SNOWBOARD BINDING.

    We do not mount snowboard bindings on the snowboard.

  • Advice

    If you have questions about a product or if you're having trouble making a choice, we will be happy to help you and give you advice. We all have experience with freeriding, snowboarding and/or touring and use many of the products we sell. Do not hesitate to contact us via helpdesk@snowcountry.eu or call us.

  • Problems during ordering

    The first order attempt failed and now the product is out of stock.
    The moment you start the payment process, the product is reserved for you. If payment is cancelled, the stock may not be released immediately for re-ordering. If this happens and the product is not available for order after 5 minutes, please contact our customer service department.

  • Business Orders

    We offer the option of placing business orders for companies outside the Netherlands. As a non-Dutch business customer, you can order without VAT based on 'intra-community supply'. To do so, follow the steps below:

    1. Create an account on our website with your business e-mail address (so no Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, etc.)
    2. Send an email to helpdesk@snowcountry.eu containing the email address registered to your account, your company name and VAT number
    3. We will check the information and adjust your account to the 0% VAT rate
    4. After confirmation from us you can order in our online store and the VAT at checkout will not be charged.


    Dutch companies can, of course, simply order from us and then reclaim the VAT via the Tax and Customs Administration.
