Quick Overview
The Faction Candie 3.0 is 108mm waisted versatile freeride ski. The tip and tail rockers are combined with a traditional camber underfoot. The 3.0 sails through powder and rips through harder conditions. Thanks to the rocker and taper in the tip and tail this ski likes to play all over the mountain but when you push down the throttle it can handle high speed turns in all conditions. The Titanal plate in the middle part of the ski combined with the slight camber underfoot gives the 3.0 some extra traction to make shure it can handle the more serious lines and high speed turns in not ideal conditions. The weight is kept low buy the use of Balsa, Flax and Poplar in the Hybrid Core. A true Candide Thovex style ski to shred everywhere in the backcountry!

The ski is directional but has some taper in the tail aswell to encourage switch rides and landings.
Anti-chip Micro-cap
Micro-cap construction on the topsheet increases the durability. No more topsheet chipping!
Titanal binding plate
In the middle part of the ski there is a Titanal plate laminated on the core to give the ski some extra strenght to make shure it can handle high speed turns in harsh conditions.
Anti-scratch (textured) topsheet
The textured topsheet does not scratch like a smooth shiny topsheet. It sheds off snow very easily aswell.

Short background info about the man himself: Candide Thovex is a professional skier and he has won multiple X-Games Big Air, Halfpipe and Slopestyle medals. After his freestyle career he started focussing on the backcountry. He succesfully cleared the legendary Chad's Gap on his first attempt in 1999. Later he entered the Freeride World Tour and won the overall event in his first year on the tour. Candide is praised for his style and speed in the backcountry. His films like Candide Kamera and Few Words show his full potential where he brings his freestyle skills to the backcountry. The last couple of years his YouTube videos like "One of Those Days" have crushed the internet hitting tens of milions of views. Candide is a legendary skier and he teamed up with Faction to built a series of freestyle and freeride skis on wich you can show your full potential!
